As a Lake Braies photographer, I have learned that this place is a slice of paradise for outdoor lovers and their special moments. It is one of the most magical places in Italy, with spectacular landscapes and ideal backdrops for commemorating big occasions that deserve eternal and unique memories. This Lake Braies proposal is one example and proof of what a dreamy location can do for your important life milestones. Dhruv chose this spot for this iconic moment because he knew he was about to create the biggest surprise!

A Proposal with a Breathtaking View 

When Dhruv planned the big moment, he had an intimate proposal idea in his mind. He wanted to give his girlfriend a unique story without compromising their privacy. That is why he opted for a place in the mountains where they will both enjoy the glorious landscapes of the Dolomites while keeping it intimate. 

Dhruv opted for a Lake Braies proposal in May to ensure that there would be no people around and that they would have a place for themselves. Even though May is the time when the weather gets warmer, the mountains are still cold, so this gave us the green light for the big moment. And it was just like we planned – the majestic snow-capped mountains, along with the serene lake, created a breathtaking backdrop, just like in the movies. 

Although there was still snow, the lush forests gave us more than we could possibly ask for. The surroundings are tailored for these kinds of moments, so, unsurprisingly, the proposal was an unforgettable experience for both Dhruv and his girlfriend.

An Authentic Hiking Experience 

The Lake Braies proposal did not end when Dhruv’s girlfriend said “yes.” We decided to use the astonishing setting for more photographs, as the surroundings are meant to be enjoyed to the fullest. Couples can’t get enough of the region’s serenity, so it is a good idea to make the most of it. That is why I suggested continuing the magical moments on the fascinating forest paths. 

Since Dhruv opted for one of the best places to propose in Italy, they experienced the dreaminess of the alpine scenery. During their hike, they enjoyed nature’s peaceful sounds and savored their big moment in perfect tranquility. Ultimately, we created outstanding portraits, allowing them to relive their proposal whenever they want! Considering they are both outdoor enthusiasts, this was an ideal setting for this occasion, and our journey together was simply amazing!
