There is nothing more beautiful than two completely different cultures coming together as one. This intimate wedding in Venice portrayed a magnificent union of an Italian bride and a Mexican groom, and capturing their story was an extraordinary experience. It was a dreamy celebration in a secluded area of the city where the bustling sounds of the crowds ceased, and the romance began. Each moment was as spectacular and memorable as the next one since the wedding was planned with the most creative and unique details in mind! 

First-Look Followed By a Unique Water Taxi Ride 

We began this intimate wedding in Venice in a genuinely romantic way. The city has just the right setting for it, so it would have been a pity not to embrace it. The couple opted for a first look at a bridge just before their water taxi ride. These moments were simple yet so magical. The bride just appeared behind the groom in her majestic gown, and they enjoyed a private moment before the celebration began. 

Since they wanted this intimate moment to continue a little bit more, they decided to get to the ceremony in Venice’s famous water taxi. They looked gorgeous in their elegant attire with Venice’s beauty behind them. It was a perfect moment to capture unique memories. 

A Ceremony to Remember 

An intimate wedding in Venice requires an intimate Italian wedding venue. Naturally, the couple decided to exchange vows in a hotel away from the tourist crowds and noises. The NH Collection Venezia Grand Hotel Palazzo dei Dogi allowed them to have the ambiance they envisioned for their big day. 

Once the ride finished, the couple arrived at their ceremony in style. They had a grand entrance, and all the guests were eager to see them dressed to the nines in their gorgeous wedding attire. The couple decided to have a symbolic ceremony in which they exchanged vows and rings.

However, considering this was an Italo-Mexican bridal celebration, they opted for some Mexican traditions to make their day unique. A Lazo ceremony was part of their bridal agenda, spicing things up slightly. As their Venice wedding photographer, I enjoyed capturing these special moments because it is not a thing you see at every wedding. 

Reception Surrounded by Lavish Greenery 

The NH Collection Venezia Grand Hotel Palazzo dei Dogi is one of the best wedding venues in Venice, Italy, not only because of the intimacy but also because of its majestic hidden garden. The garden’s greenery created an intimate and outstanding ambiance, just like the couple desired. They only added delicate floral arrangements as bridal decor, and the setting turned out perfectly. It was subtle but striking, so we were able to create some magical memories.

This scenery allowed everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves. The guests had a thrilling experience and celebrated the entire night. However, the bride and groom decided to make a grand final with mariachi that came at the end of the celebration. Everyone sang traditional Mexican songs and finished this fantastic night with a unique custom we are all familiar with! 

An intimate wedding in Venice is a dream come true for many couples! This bride and groom had the chance to celebrate their marriage in one of the most romantic places in the world. It was an impressive and authentic experience they will never forget!
