An intimate Venice elopement is an ideal way to intimately celebrate love in gorgeous surroundings. Julia and Charlie decided to have a small event in which the main focus was their love story and new beginnings. They didn’t opt for any kind of extravagance and wanted their most special moment to be shared with the people they love most. The couple decided to elope at sunrise on a Venetian terrace. Everything was simple but romantic, which was exactly what they were going for. We all enjoyed the spontaneity of the entire process, and the photos are living proof of that!
Since both Julia and Charlie are not keen on big traditions and customs, they decided on an intimate Venice elopement in a romantic location. The couple chose a private terrace near San Marco Square for their ceremony and had a marvelous view of the Venetian Lagoon. As their Venice elopement photographer, I was able to capture unique portraits and provide them with gorgeous memories of their celebration.
They decided to have a symbolic ceremony since they handled all the papers and legal stuff at home. This was just a perfect opportunity to exchange their vows in front of their closest people and share their love with them. They were all about alternative wedding ideas because they wanted to avoid the big traditions. Ultimately, the newlyweds ended up creating a unique elopement they will remember for the rest of their lives.
The Venice elopement was even more magical because they chose to do it at sunrise. As the sun was coming up, we all raised our glasses in the name of love and enjoyed the beauty of these moments. To make their sunrise elopement in Venice even more special, Julia threw her bouquet from the terrace as people passed by. These spontaneous details made their celebration one-of-a-kind. Everyone enjoyed them tremendously!
After the vow exchange, we all headed to Hotel Metropole Venezia for a celebratory bridal breakfast. Each of the guests delivered a short speech and shared beautiful words with the newlyweds. Although symbolically, they did not forget to include their dog in the celebration. Julia and Charlie carried a small statue of a Saint Bernard dog everywhere we went. They wanted to have their furball present somehow since they could not bring him on the plane.
The breakfast was joyful and full of emotional moments. It was certainly not something couples do ordinarily, but Italy elopement ideas go beyond rules and the ordinary. It was definitely an event to remember for both the couple and the guests.
I have always cherished non-traditional wedding alternatives, and this Venice elopement was one of my favorites. When Charlie and Julia said they wanted an authentic Venice elopement package, I was unaware that they were about to make it so spectacular. I enjoyed every moment of their big day, and it was one of the most unique experiences I got the chance to be a part of!
