Planning a Florence surprise proposal in November might sound bold, but it turned out to be the perfect moment for Alejandro and Isabella. He wanted something intimate and meaningful, with beautiful views but no crowds. So we chose Piazzale Michelangelo, a spot that overlooks the whole city and feels timeless, especially during low season.
That morning, Florence was wrapped in a soft grey light. The sky was overcast, the air was crisp, and the usual buzz of the city felt quieter than usual. It gave us the kind of privacy that’s hard to find in high season, perfect for a proposal. When Alejandro got down on one knee it was quiet, emotional, and completely real.
Afterwards, we wandered down toward the river for their Florence proposal photoshoot. The walk along the Arno River gave us the chance to capture them with Ponte Vecchio in the background, one of the most iconic scenes in Florence, but without the crowds that usually fill the area in summer.
We ended the session in the historic center, stopping in Piazza della Signoria and Piazza del Duomo, where the architecture adds a timeless feeling to the photos. Isabella and Alejandro were completely at ease, walking hand in hand, still glowing from the moment.
