A golden hour couple session in Venice looks different every time, but Amine and Juliana’s had something particular about it. They weren’t performing for the camera. They were just there: fully present, laughing, leaning into each other the way people do when they’ve forgotten anyone else exists.
It started on a gondola. He had planned the proposal for that moment, and when it happened, it was exactly what it should have been, quiet, real, and completely theirs. After that, we wandered through San Polo, Dorsoduro and Santa Marta quarters as the light turned gold. The streets were calm, the canal reflections were doing their thing, and the two of them just lived it. My job was mostly to keep up.
This is what I love most about evening sessions in Venice. The city softens, the crowds thin out, and there’s a warmth to everything… In the light, in the mood, in the way couples move through it when they’re not thinking about the photos.
