Leo had planned everything without Ivana knowing. She thought they were about to start a food tour in the mountain villages. Instead, they met me by Lago di Misurina, close to their hotel, and I casually started taking a few photos of them “before the food tour” Moments later, Leo got down on one knee. Ivana was caught completely off guard. She had originally planned a hiking day and was a little annoyed at the change of plans but when she realized what was happening, her eyes filled with tears.
What followed was an emotional morning filled with laughter, hugs, and peace. No crowds, no pressure. Just two people in love, in one of the most breathtaking corners of the Dolomites.
