I was born and raised in Bergamo (a city near Milan) but I moved to Venice in 2011 to study and I never left.
This city isn’t just a backdrop for my work. It’s home. I’ve spent years exploring it in every season, every kind of light, and every tide. I know the quiet corners, the hidden spots tourists walk right past, and the perfect places to catch that golden shimmer on the canals.
Venice has inspired poets and painters for centuries, and today, it inspires me too. I truly believe that a couple photoshoot in Venice doesn’t have to feel like a cliché. With the right timing, the right guide, and the right approach, it becomes something deeply personal and beautiful.

Silvia was immensely kind, laid back, and easy to talk to. She put us right at ease. We also benefitted from her immense knowledge as a local, so that we managed to benefit from a personalized tour as well as the photography! Silvia knew all the best places to take us for intimate, romantic photos away from the crowds and adapted to exactly what we were looking for. Her gorgeous photos speak for themselves, so I won’t dwell too much on her skill as a photographer and editor but it is really the warmth of her personality and flexibility that sets this experience apart.

She was prompt in communication, clear in instruction, thoughtful and creative with the shoot planning. Though I wish I spoke more Italian (still learning!), she was fluent in English and was very friendly and conversational with us after our big moment and throughout the shoot.

She was very personable, and she tried to plan things out in advance, which helped a lot. That said, she was flexible. For example, there was one really good spot she knew that was flooded that day. It had rained very heavily the night before, so she took us across the bridge to another excellent location.
