Bruce reached out to plan a surprise proposal for Fernanda during their trip to Italy in late October. He asked me to pretend I was offering casual portraits at the lake, just to keep the secret. So we began a relaxed couple photoshoot, making the most of the incredible autumn colors and soft morning sun.
After a few warm-up shots on the shore, Bruce suggested renting a wooden boat from the famous Palafitta at Lake Braies. Once we were out on the water, in the middle of this breathtaking alpine setting, he got down on one knee and asked Fernanda to marry him.
It was emotional, intimate, and filled with joy, the kind of moment that feels like it belongs only to the two of them, surrounded by nature and silence.
